Leaflet.Deflate is a plug-in for the mapping library Leaflet, which improves visibility of polygons and lines on large-scale web maps. It integrates with other popular Leaflet plug-ins, such as Leaflet.Draw or Leaflet.MarkerCluster.

The Cadsata Platform is a web portal to document land and property rights. It features flexible data models for data collection, open APIs and and integration with ODK for mobile data collection. The project has been discontinued in 2019.
GeoKey is a platform for participatory mapping that enables citizens to collect, share and discuss local knowledge on the Web, providing a web portal to set up and manage community-led mapping initiatives. It features flexible data models for data collection and a REST API to connect applications for data collection, analysis and visualisation.

OpenRouteService is an online route-planning application based on OpenStreetMap’s. I led the re-design and re-implementation of an earlier version of the client-side components.
OSMatrix was a tool for visual exploration of OpenStreetMap mapping progress and quality metrics. Using a hexagonal grid, it showed aggregated information, including user contributions, edit dates, and availability of certain feature types. The project has since been discontinued and succeeded by OpenStreetMap History eXplorer, also developed at Heidelberg University.
